How long does paint protection film last?
Years, if it was installed well and washed sensibly. The failure modes are predictable: yellowing from UV, edges lifting because they were never sealed properly, and adhesive going brittle after enough freeze-thaw cycles. Two of those three come down to installation rather than film. Brush tunnels and strong alkaline degreasers will age it faster than the weather does. You go home with a wash-and-care sheet. If an edge starts to lift, bring it in early, before water and salt get under it.
