North Dakota is hard on vehicles, and most of the damage happens slowly enough that owners do not notice until it is expensive. Road salt and sand are the main culprits. The freeze-thaw cycle compounds it. Deep cold makes trim and paint brittle enough to crack. The swing back above freezing keeps moisture, and the salt riding in it, in contact with your paint far longer than it should be. Add rock chips off the interstate and the county roads and you have pitted hoods and chipped bumpers, plus a dozen small openings for rust to start once spring arrives.

Summer is not a break. Long daylight and hard UV fade interiors, dry out trim, and break down wax and sealant faster than a mild climate ever would.

Which is why we build around the full cycle. Paint protection film catches the chips before they reach metal. Ceramic coating gives salt and grime less to hold onto and holds up under UV. Tint takes the load off your interior. Thorough seasonal detailing gets the salt and sand out of seams and carpet before it does quiet, long-term work in there.
