Does window tint help in North Dakota winters, or is it just for summer heat?
It helps year round, in different ways. Summer is heat rejection. Winter is glare, and low-angle sun coming off snow on an open road is the worst version of it. Ceramic film cuts that noticeably. UV blocking runs all twelve months, which is what keeps a dash from fading and cracking. It will not de-ice your glass or do the heater any favors.
