FAQ / Window Tint

What is the difference between carbon and ceramic window tint?

Neither film is metallic, so neither one interferes with GPS, keyless entry, or cell signal, and neither goes purple the way old dyed film does. The difference is heat. Nano-ceramic blocks a much larger share of infrared, which is the part you feel on your arm at a stoplight in July. It also stays optically clearer, with less haze looking out at night. Carbon is a real step up from dyed film. Solid heat rejection, a flat matte-black look, lower price. Come look at both on the sample board. The difference is easier to see through the glass than to read about.
