Does ceramic coating protect against rock chips?
No. A coating is a hard, glass-like layer measured in microns. It has no give, so it cannot absorb a pebble off the interstate. That job belongs to paint protection film. Plenty of customers run film on the front end and coating over the whole vehicle.
